International Islamic congregation concludes in Bhopal
The 66th Aalmi Tablighi Ijtema, an international Islamic congregation, today ended at Eitkheri with a mass prayer for the well-being of the community and peace and prosperity of the country and harmony across the globe.
About eleven lakh Muslims from India and abroad attended the grand ‘Dua’ prayer delivered by Hazrat Maulana Zubair-ul-Hasan (Hazrat ji) of Nizamuddin Markaz, New Delhi, organisers said.
Maulana Zubair-ul-Hasan said in his sermon that life and practises of Hazrat Mohammad showed that Islam emphasises good relations with all.
During the three-day event, renowned Islamic scholars including Maulana Zubair-ul-Hasan, Maulana Ahmad Laat, Maulana Saad-ul-Hasan, Maulana Mustaqeem, Maulana Ismail, Maulana Chiraghuddin, Maulana Ali Qadar, Maulana Shaukat Ali delivered sermons on the life and practises of Prophet Mohammad and Islamic Shariah (law), Ijtema Committee spokesman Atique-ul-Islam said.
About 500 marriages (nikah) were also solemnised by Hazrat Maulana Zubair-ul-Hasan on the second day of Ijtema.
Delegates from Russia, England, US, Malaysia, Indonesia, Kirghistan, France, Morocco, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Iran, South Africa and other countries attended the annual event.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had visited the venue on Saturday, Atique said.

Was there any advice to Jihadi Maulvis about peaceful co-existence? What was the advice about Jihad in present times?
We have seen more than 11 Lac persons gathering in Tableeghi meetings in Pakistan and Bangladesh. But we did not see any advice about peace. They did not stop any violent attack on Ahmadis or Shias or Christians. What use was the gathering of such parties!

Ghulam Sarwar Vi, you are fond of JIHAD ? Gathering of mass people are available in many places except Tabligh Jamat. what they are doing ? Actually some people want to seem tabligh as a complete Islam. but Tablig jamat never tells that they are complete Islam. they just try to change the destination of a wrong man and do many other Daowat.All sould involv in Tablig from all profession – rickshaw pooler, Police, Army, minister etc. then all problem will be solved.
Dear masum, I could not understand you. Tableegh is the right Jihad in these days. It should be peaceful Tableegh. And peace should be visible and practiced by those who do Tableegh. But I do not see Tableeghi Jama’at working for peace. They may be giving some lectures (on peace) but practically I do not see them working to establish peace in their surroundings.
I have attended their lectures. I pointed out here that when Bangladeshis came out to kill Ahmadis or to Shut down their mosque (place of worship), the Tableeghi people never came out to stop the terrorists. Why? Is it necessary only to gather many people and say “Dua’a” but to sit at home when there is violent crowd?
As I said, I could not understand your point of view. Please excuse me if anything is wrong.
