Why the Jews left their Arab lands

Source: Asia Times:
There has been a Jewish presence in Arab-Muslim countries since well before Islam was introduced and it dates back to before the 6th century before the current era. These communities have disappeared or are in the process of disappearing in the majority of Arab-Muslim countries. In fact, 865,000 Jews found themselves excluded in the very countries they were born in and felt that they had to leave.

  1. It is not sufficiently stressed that Israel was extremely keen to get Jewish immigrants. Consequently they encouraged all Jews to come and settle in the new state, especially also those from Arab countries.

  2. It is a good informative article. The Muslims should realize that there is no Dhimmi now because there is no (religious?) war. Religion is not under attack any more. There is no Jihad with weapons, swords and bombs.
Just because some one is non-Muslim in a Muslim country, does not make him Dhimmi.
Israel is a reality, good or bad. There is no need to deny that. The Israelis are a nation and every nation needs a home (country). The Israelis have proved their worth by good education and superior works. They should not be disturbed in Israel by armed men. The Muslims who stand for Peace (Islam) should not disturb the Jews or Hindus or Christians.
At present the Muslims are on the receiving end due to their ignorance of Islam and worldly matters. They should repent and return to Allah with good deeds.
