“It is a universal truth that religion is a matter of the heart and no-one’s heart can be forced to believe in a particular religion. It is for this very reason that the Holy Quran says that there should be no compulsion in matters of religion.”
David Rutherford (Chief Human Rights Commissioner, New Zealand) said:

This is in response to the news published on November 11, 2013 , Special Reception Held to Mark Inauguration of Auckland Ahmadiyya Mosque (Nov 11). This is a living and practical example of the declaration of the founder of the Ahmadiya Muslim Community he said ” I shall spread thy message to the corners of the world” .On 2 November 2013 the World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and Fifth Khalifa, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, delivered the keynote address at a Special Reception held to mark the inauguration of the Baitul Muqeet Mosque in Auckland.
It is a great effort to translate Holy Quran in many languages spoken and understood all over the world in an effort to give an opportunity to people to at least read and try to understand what is it all about and what is Islam and who are Muslims. Holy Quran is translated over 53 languages , some of these are Hebrew, Albanian, French , Persian, Punjabi, Japanese , Greek , Hindi , Maori etc
I would like to congratulate and appreciate all the efforts that everyone is putting in spreading the message of Islam. May God Almighty bless and help these humble efforts and rewards them.
I would like to end this today on a saying from Holy Quran Allah says (in the Holy Qur’an, Aal-e-`Imran: 105), “And let there be among you a few who should invite (humanity) towards goodness.”

It is interesting to look at the world map & find New Zealand in the southeastern corner of the world! A good sign if someone has an open heart & mind.
