Ghana: 30th annual national rally of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association

The Brong Ahafo Regional Minister, Mr Paul Evans Aidoo, has observed that Ghana needs  every citizen and community to promote peace and reconciliation for development to spread to every community.

He said the government was committed to fighting against crime and illiteracy, which were rife at the district, regional and national levels.

Mr Aidoo said the central government could not accomplish the tasks without partnership and support from all religious organisations as it made the efforts  to make the country a destination for regional trade, investment and commerce in the sub-region.

The regional minister, who opened the 30th annual national rally of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association held at Techiman in the Brong Ahafo Region, spoke on the theme: ‘The Holy Prophet Muhammad An epitome of Peace, and  Reconciliation.’
