One third of all marriages in Germany will end in divorce, new statistics show. Yet those couples who do so now wait longer than they used to before throwing in the towel.
One in three German marriages will end in divorce, according to statistics released by the Federal Statistics Office on Tuesday. But couples which end up splitting now give their relationships three years longer to work out than twenty years ago, the figures suggest.
Whereas in 1992 divorces happened on average 11.5 years after a couple got hitched, that figure jumped to 14.5 years in 2012.
Do we have any statistics of the Muslim Community in Germany? Or they ‘better’ or ‘worse’ than the ‘average German’?
They must be better I guess. But that “better” might still be very much below standard.
Dear Br Rafiq of course AMJ is much much better as comapred to normal German citizens. Any way the head of Rishta Nata department has been approached if he can provide the latest survey figure.
The information is same as reported earlier. There is no comparison with AMJ. Very few cases of divorce are registered and most of these amicably resolved through efforts of community arbitration system. One can say these are blessings of divinely guided Khilafat and wonderful AMJ system.
