Once known for its verdant beaches, Indonesia of late has acquired a radical hue. This shift came into stark focus recently when the organisers of Miss World pageant bowed down to pressure from Islamic hardliners and scrapped the bikini round from this year’s competition to be held in September in Jakarta.
In depth analysis reveals Wahhabi’s philosophy exported by KSA is the only cause of radicalization because this group calls all other Muslims as well followers of other religions as infidels liable to be killed. Killing all over of Ahmadi Muslims, Shia Muslims, Christians and Hindus etc are done by this group. Global powers know this fact but due to the vested strategic interests as well differences with Shia dominated Iran all have closed eyes. In case some thing concrete is not coming up urgently this menace of radicalization likely to engulf the interest of whole world. The only answer lies the separation of religion from state in all Muslim countries in letter and spirit. Pakistan which has the biggest manufacturing factories of these radicals has to be tackled specially. Some one has to take bold action if world has to be kept as a peaceful place to live.
