Swami Bhodhaswaroopanand Swamiji of Ramakrishna Sharada Ashram said that religion is misused for selfish purposes and this spoils the religious harmony in the society. We should cleanse our hearts first to improve the world. Peace would prevail in the society if we realize that there is only one God, although He is called in different names, he added.
Janab Badruddin Saheb, a resident of Sharjah said that terrorists are mass murderers and, therefore, they cannot be called Muslims. The Islamic concept of “Jihad” is misunderstood at present and cleansing one’s heart is the real meaning of Jihad. We should, therefore try to overcome the vices like anger, greed, hatred jealousy etc., to perform Jihad, he said.
Janab Hafiz Saheb informed that the devotion of God results in developing mutual love and respect among people. He invited all to come forward to build a structure of love in the society.
World needs love at present, said Father Sudhir Robinson of CSI Church. If we are good, then the whole world will be good. World stands on the pillars of love and cooperation, he added.
