Rawalpindi: The personality of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) is the fountain of blessings and a source of guidance in all the matters for the Muslims, if they follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) and commandments of Almighty Allah truly and sincerely, says a press release.

Pir Muhammad Naqib-ur-Rehman, custodian of Eidgah shrine, stated this while addressing the monthly congregation of ‘Barhveen Sharif’ at Eidgah Sharif here on Thursday.

“Our honour and dignity as well as absolution on the Day of Judgement is linked to the blessings of Almighty Allah and compassionate love with the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him), who is the blessing for the whole universe so whosoever follows his teachings becomes a model of mercy, love, brotherhood and sacrifice for others,” he said.

The custodian of Eidgah shrine said that a true Muslim is he who desires welfare of others and brings hearts of people closer by eliminating hatred. He said the challenges facing the Muslim Ummah and problems of various sorts being faced by the people of Pakistan can be met and addressed by turning towards Medina Munawwara truly and sincerely.

Addressing thousands of participants at the congregation, Pir Muhammad Naqib-ur-Rehman advised them to attend the colourful ceremonies in connection with three-day annual Urs on June 7 to 9 to pay respect to the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him).

Allama Abu Bakar Chishti, Maulana Syed Arif Shah Gilani, Mufti Muhammad Sulaiman Rizvi, Maulana Sajid, Allama Usman Ghani, Maulana Qari Maula Bakhsh, Allama Farooq Usmani, Allama Ghulam Ali Qamar, Maulana Faisal Mahmood and Khawaja Wajahat Jameel also addressed the congregation.
