Kids are being deliberately kept under-educated. Any spark of critical thinking and wider social awareness is driven out of their young minds at an early age until they become thugs like these; so easily whipped up into a frenzy of hatred by whoever is calling the shots in this nasty game.

One of the fundamental truths established by the sacred texts is that no one can be compelled to accept Islam. It is the duty of Muslims to establish the proof of Isla
m to the people so that truth can be made clear from falsehood. After that, whoever wishes to accept Islam may do so and whoever wishes to continue upon unbelief may do so. No one should be threatened or harmed in any way if he does not wish to accept Islam.
This verse is decisive in establishing that each person has the right to make his or her own choice about embracing Islam.
Do Riziek Shihab, his followers; the MUI and Religious Affairs Minister Suryadarma Ali not know this surah? There is no point in forcing the Ahmadiya or Shiite followers to convert to Sunni as Allah would not accept the conversion!

I fail to understand why the state is not protecting its minorities. In fact I feel Indonesia as a state is sponsoring these sorts of activities against minorities, which have nothing to do with Islam. No doubt this is why Muslims are losing respect among developed nations. Until we stop these terrorists we cannot progress, nor gain international respect.
If these radicals continue to ostracize minority Islamic sects, eventually they will retaliate. I wonder if the lazy and ineffectual cops would do as much if it was the Islam Defenders Front (FPI) and their terrorists? This is not a threat but if you continue to attack and kill people what do you expect in return? Deddy K

May God Bless all those who have shown the courage of conviction and raised their voice of sanity and have tried to remind the sitting Government, the Administration and the smart uniformed Police ,whose main duty is to keep law and order and create peaceful conditions in society so that every peace loving citizen enjoys equal status of respect and is allowed to use his basic fundamental human rights and especially the freedom of human conscience, the supremely central right of all human beings, which actually differentiates human beings from the animals, and it was Islam and only Islam which had emphasized it to make this ‘deen-e-fitrat’as the natural way of living a successful life in human society. In view of all these noble ideas, it is expected that the Government of Jakartat will soon restore the full basic rights of all small numbered minorities and the locked Ahmadiyya Mosques/places of worship of God Almighty, will be opened and restored to their original position in which Ahmadis are allowed to bow their heads before God and the Administration will check the misguided agitating destroyers, looters and killers of Ahmadi Muslims of Indonesian roots, who are very peaceful, God fearing civilized members of Indonesian nation/society, who believe in serving whole mankind without any discrimination under their soul-inspiring slogan of ‘Love for all, Hatred for none’. God is the greatest. Alhamdolillah.
