    Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono called on all components of the people to adhere to the policies that have been issued by the government so there is no conflict of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community with others.

    “There has been a policy to prevent conflicts between the Ahmadiyah Islamic community. Obey, hold each other up and prevent violence,” the president said in his Twitter account, @ SBYudhoyono in Jakarta, Wednesday (8/5).

    The Head of State said the local government and security forces in the area should be pro-active action to prevent a conflict between components of society.

    “Conflict between religious to happen again in Tasikmalaya and Bekasi. Chief of the area, police and religious leaders must do something,” said the President.

    Previously, after a limited cabinet meeting at the Presidential Office on Tuesday (7/5) night, Coordinating Minister for People’s Welfare Agung said that so far religion-based conflict resolution mechanisms, especially the Ahmadiyya has been stated in the Joint Decree (SKB) three ministers in 2008.
