The Bharatiya Janata Party (About this sound pronunciation (help·info); translation: Indian People’s Party; abbreviated BJP) is one of the two major parties in the Indian political system, the other being the Indian National Congress. Established in 1980, it is India’s second largest political party in terms of representation in the parliament and in the various state assemblies.

The Bharatiya Janata Party designates its official ideology and central philosophy to be “integral humanism“,[5][6] based upon a 1965 book by Deendayal Upadhyaya.[7][8] The party advocates Hindu nationalism and social conservatism, self-reliance as outlined by the Swadeshi movement,[9] and a foreign policy centred around key nationalist principles. Their policies support strong defence forces, conservative positions on social issues, fiscal conservatism and economic growth through free markets.[10] The party’s platform is generally considered to the right-wing of the Indian political spectrum.[11]

The BJP led the national government along with a coalition of parties of the NDA from 1998 to 2004, with Atal Bihari Vajpayee as Prime Minister, thus making it the first non-Congress government to last a full term in office. Since its election defeat in the 2004 general elections, the BJP has been pivotal amongst the opposition parties in parliament.

Master Mohan Lal said that he was positively thrilled to see that a Muslim gathering was chanting for humanity and all of mankind and was amazed to see that they were not only celebrating the Prophet Muhammad, but also Krishna, Ram and Jesus.  The interesting video is in Urdu, hear for yourself:

  1. It is nice to know the BJP Local leader Master Mohan Lal addressed the 2012 Qadian Annual Jalsa.

In recent months BJP has made some significant gains in State elections in India and is poised for a comeback – hopefully leaving the dark clouds of anti-Islamic reminiscent of Babri Masjid affair behind and adopt our Jamaat’s motto LOVE FOR ALL AND HATRED FOR NONE.

  2. Thanks for sharing this video with us. It was a real joy to watch and hear this speech form the Represnetative of the BJP promotimg love. peace and fraternity–something that the Jamaat Ahmadiyya has been advocating for over 100 years in accordnace with the teachings of our beloved Holy Prophet Muhammad [Peace and Bessings of Allah be on him]
