SCO presidency passed to Kazakhstan

Astana. June 11. Kazakhstan Today – The head of state, Nursultan Nazarbayev, took part in the sessions of the Council of heads of SCO member states in the narrow and extended structures and made a speech today in Tashkent, the agency reports citing the president’s press service.

According to the press service, during the summit, Kazakhstan assume the duties of the chairman in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

  1. As a chaireman to SCO it will be the duty of Mr. Nursultan Nazerbaev to maintain peace and develop good neighbourhood. Kazakhstan itself is a very beautiful and peaceful country. I’d request the chairman to bring peace to the members of Ahmadiyya community in Kazakhstan. Imposing restrictions will never be a service to Islam nor to peace. Neither it will be progress nor a good name to the country. We hope that Mr. President will show an elderly behaviour like Abaey.
