French Finance Minister, Christine Lagarde, said she felt “very positive” after talks with Chinese officials about her candidacy to head the IMF. The favored candidate didn’t get an official endorsement. But she assured the authorities she’s listening to what China, and other big emerging economies are demanding that is, a bigger say in the international organization.
