The following are world figures who are descendants of the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم or known as Dzurriyah Nabi.

Among them there are those who become kings in their country, there are also scholars who are highly respected. The origins of the descendants of the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم which are now spread all over the world began from the Hijrah of Imam Ahmad bin Isa Al-Muhajir from Basrah (Iraq) to Hadhramaut Yemen and descended there.

Ahmad ibn Isa (died 345 AH), was named Al-Muhajir because he left Basrah during the reign of the Abbasid Caliph in Baghdad 317 AH (896 AD). Habib Umar bin Hafidz, the great scholar of Yemen Al-Habib Umar bin Hafiz (born May 27, 1963) is a great scholar of Yemen’s Hadhramaut who is the 39th generation of direct descendants of the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم. His destiny was connected to the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم with the clan of Abu Bakr bin Salim (BSA) through the path of Sayyidina Husain bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). His personality as a scholar and spiritual guide made him known in the world, including in Southeast Asia. The Tariqah of Ba ‘Alawi expanded its influence on hundreds of millions of Muslims around the world. He was named the most influential Muslim figure in the world in The World’s 500 Influential Muslims in 2024. 2. King of Jordan Abdullah II Al-Husayn Abdullah II Al-Hussein (born January 30, 1962) is the King of Jordan who is a descendant of the Prophet Muhammad, the 41st generation. From his name, he is the ratio to the Dzurriyah of the Prophet from the path of Husayn bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). The Hashemite dynasty is the second oldest ruling dynasty in the world, after Japan. As the current bearer of Hashemite heritage, HM King Abdullah II has a unique prestige in the Islamic world. In addition to being the Custodian of Muslim and Christian Holy Sites in Jerusalem (and of course Jordan itself), he was named 5th in The World’s 500 Influential Muslims (influential Muslim figures in the world) in 2024. He is a scholar descended from the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم with the surname Al-Jufri, his destiny is connected through the Sayyidina Husein route. Habib Ali Zain al-Abidin bin Abdurrahman bin Ali was a prominent Islamic scholar and a well-known speaker in the Muslim world. Al-Jifri is the Director General of the Tabah Foundation in the UAE, a board member of Dar al-Mustafa in Yemen, a member of the Royal Aal Al-Bayt Institute of Islamic Thought in Jordan, and is affiliated with various other international Islamic organizations. 5. Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, Hezbollah High-ranking Officer Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah (born August 31, 1960) is known as the leader of Hezbollah. He served as the third secretary general of the Lebanese political and paramilitary party, Hezbollah since his predecessor Abbas al-Musawi was killed by Israeli forces. He is listed as the 28th most influential Muslim figure in the world in The World’s 500 Influential Muslims in 2024. Hezbollah is a Shia Islamic political party. Nasrallah is often referred to as al-Sayyid Hassan which indicates that he is a descendant of the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم through the path of Husayn bin Ali. His popularity peaked after the 2006 conflict with Israel, when many Sunni Muslims viewed him as a dissident figure against Israel. In addition to the five world figures descended from the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم above, there are several other figures who are quite popular.

Like Sayyed Hossein Nasr, a University Professor of Islamic Studies at George Washington University. Then Sayyid Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas (ranked 48th in The World’s 500 Influential Muslims in 2024), was born in Bogor, West Java. Now he is a Muslim scholar and philosopher in Malaysia. Al-Attas founded a higher education institution called the International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization (ISTAC) in Kuala Lumpur.
