Ahmadiyya Leader Calls For  Global Peace  In Gaza And Ukraine

Amidst ongoing wars between Hamas and Israeli Armed forces in Palestine, as well as  Ukraine and Russian forces, the world head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community Hazrat Masroor Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih V has called for a ceasefire among warring parties.

He made this call at the 2024  International Peace Symposium of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association, United Kingdom, held at the Baitul Futuh Mosque in the United Kingdom.

Hazrat Masroor Ahmad said these wars have led to millions of deaths, loss of properties, and untold economic hardship to the entire world.

He recalled that thousands of people are now refugees across the world, and some have been maimed for life.

The international event is attended by senior members of Parliament, faith leaders, business and diplomatic communities, and representatives from over 28 countries.

The theme of this year’s symposium, “Building a Sustainable Peace” highlighted the key solutions to achieve lasting peace in the current light of ongoing global conflicts.

Features 

One of the features of the peace symposium is the Ahmadiyya Muslim      Peace Prize which is awarded in recognition of an individual’s or an organisation’s contribution to the advancement of peace.

This year, two  peace  prizes were awarded to Adi Roche founder of ‘Chernobyl Children International, and David Spurdle, founder of ‘Stand by Me’ for his exceptional support to orphans & underprivileged children around the world.

Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the worldwide head  of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community, emphasized the need for nations to exercise justice in order to avoid a global conflict.

Earlier Warnings 

The world head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community has been speaking to world leaders for over two decades and warning of the need for world leaders to exercise true justice to ensure peace.
