Officers Monitor the Activities of the Ahmadiyya Congregation in Bintan

Bintan, Batamnews – The National Police and the TNI as well as the Bintan Regency Government visited Numbing Village, Bintan Pesisir District, Riau Archipelago to ensure and anticipate turmoil between the Indonesian Ahmadiyah Congregation (JAI) and local residents.

Bintan Police Chief AKBP Tidar Wulung Dahono said that his party together with Dandim 0315/Tanjungpinang Colonel Inf. Tommy Anderson and Satpol PP Bintan directly monitored JAI activities in Kampung Bom Baru, Numbing Village.

“Our arrival there is with the intention of directly monitoring the Kamtibmas situation in the region so that it is always conducive,” said Tidar, Saturday (7/1/2023).

“We also accommodate the aspirations of the people of Bintan Pesisir District,” he explained.

Until now, it is confirmed that JAI’s activities in Kampung Bom Baru are still running in a conducive manner. He invited the community to jointly maintain kamtibmas.

If there is a problem, they are asked not to take the law into their own hands but to immediately report it to the police or the TNI. In this village there are also police personnel, namely Bhabinkamtibmas who are at the forefront of the community.

“The National Police are the protectors, protectors and public servants. So if there are any problems, please report them to us,” he said.
