UK: Local Sikhs invite Ahmadiyya Muslim community to celebrate the 550th Anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak Ji

On the 26th of November 2019, Ahmadiyya Muslim community was invited to the Mayors palour office to celebrate an event hosted by the local Sikh community – the 550th Birth Anniversary celebrations of Baba Guru Nanak Ji.

Baba Guru Nanak Ji was born on 15 April 1469 at Rāi Bhoi Kī Talvaṇḍī village in the Lahore province of the Delhi Sultanate (present day Nankana Sahib, Punjab, Pakistan), although according to one tradition, he was born in the month of Kartik (November).

Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Wolverhampton is one of the most active community for interfaith events such as this.

Members from the Royal Airforce were also present to offer their respects.
