The United Nations is warning that 13 million people in Yemen are facing starvation.

It’s calling on the military coalition, led by Saudi Arabia, to halt air strikes which are killing civilians, and contributing to what the UN says could become “the worst famine in the world in 100 years”.

Yemen’s civil war began three years ago, when Houthi rebels, backed by Iran, seized much of the country, including the capital Sanaa.

Saudi Arabia, backed by the US, the UK and France, is using air strikes and a blockade – in support of the internationally-recognised government.

At least 10,000 people have been killed in the conflict and millions are displaced.

    The Allah made them taste disgrace in the worldly life, and of course the punishment of the Hereafter is much greater. Only if they knew! QS 39:(26)

    A wise leader always look at to himself if there is something wrong, but a foolish always blame other.Proverb

    “If you do love Allah, follow Me properly: Allah will love you and forgive you your sins; for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” QS 3:31. (Allah will make you successful and prosperous in this world.)

    If you follow Me a partly and reject the rest. I will punish you;

    You believe in a part of the Scripture and reject the rest? Then what is the recompense of those who do so among you, except disgrace in the life of this world, and on the Day of Resurrection they shall be consigned to the most grievous torment. And Allah is not unaware of what you do. QS 2;85.
