OIC Summit to focus on Palestinian oppression, Presidential Spox Kalın says

DAILY SABAH
ISTANBUL

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Summit to be held in Istanbul Friday will focus on the steps that need to be taken to end oppression in Palestine, Presidential Spokesperson Ibrahim Kalın said Thursday.

The OIC had previously declared East Jerusalem the capital of Palestine “under occupation” and urged the U.S. to withdraw from the peace process and back down from its Jerusalem decision.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan recently said that Turkey will propose to establish a joint effort by the OIC and the European Union to settle the issue over Jerusalem’s status.

  1. The OIC is a paper tiger. Can anyone tell me of any positive achievements of the OIC? I am not aware of anything. (Well, similarly with the Arab League and the Muslim World League).

  2. It is weird — why Turkey leads this OIC Summit instead of Saudi Arabia?

Muslim countries cannot unite to solve their problem that is why there is no peace and no power—

God has described in Al Quran that Arab tribes culture are conflict and because their leader are hypocrites-

Wait and see— what is God’s plan for Palestine and Israel

      • Rafiq— maybe you right— but Last summit in Turkey.
Saudi want to be friend and recognize Israel as Jordan and Egypt——but Turkey condemed Istael—Saudi never condemn Israel about 62 died in Gaza—Why?
