Remember those times when your parents ask you not to gobble down your meals, and start eating slowly instead, you may not have listened then, but you should now. They are right, especially if you are looking to lose weight.
According to an article in The Guardian, a study that was done in Japan, asked information through a health-checkup on the lifestyle habits of type two diabetes patients, with focus on their eating speed. The results showed that patients that were eating slowly or at normal eating speed were less likely to be obese compared to those who were fast eaters.
