The Ahmadiyya Muslim Association Tooting is holding a vigil today to ‘stand together’ with Manchester following the terrorist attack on Monday.
A suicide bomber killed 22 people, including children, and wounded 59 at a pop concert by US singer Ariana Grande in Manchester Arena.
President of Ahmadiyya Tooting Shakeel Ahmed said: “Islam means peace and we promote peace and condemn any sort of terrorism.
“This is our country and this terrorism cannot divide our unity- that’s what we have to show them.
“We are united and we stand together for Britain. Love for all, hatred for none.”
The vigil will take place this evening, May 25, at 6.30pm at Tooting Broadway Station.
