The Muslim Times’ Chief Editor’s comments

President Musharaf is expressing sympathies for the Ahmadi Muslims and is highlighting the principle of religious freedom in this video.

However, he is saying that he has to adjust to the ground realities also as each one of us also does as we hedge our bets, based on the political, social and religious realities of life. So, I fully understand where he is coming from.

Those who will object to this comment are probably those who have little insight into their own personal short comings, at least at the present time.
