Mr Davor Bernardic, Member Croatian National Parliament speaking as Chief Guest

It was a great day for Ahmadiyya and Humanity First Croatia. In a festive ceremony, eyeglasses were handed over to children who are patients cum students in Special Hospital/School located in city part of Golijak Zagreb-Croatia. Mr Davor Bernardic, member of Croatian National Parliament was the chief guest for the event.

Donation of Euro 5,000.00 was provided through kind courtesy of  Humanity First Germany. Mr Patrik Ostrihon and Ms Nives Hrestak were the prime force to make the project rolling. Special hospital for children with neurodevelopmental disorder Goljak Zagreb, which houses dozens of affected children was chosen to donate the eyeglasses required by the needy children. Omega Optika facilitated eye tests and provision of preferred frames and lenses.

Ms Nives Hrestak moderated the event explaining history of project. Mr Drazen Pandek, Patron of Humanity First Croatia,  gave brief introduction of Humanity First International. Director of Hospital Ms Prim. Katarina Bosniak-Nagy, PhD., MD., Specialist in pediatrics and  pediatric neurology briefly introduced the hospital along with on going activities. Mr Davor Bernardic, Chief Guest thanked the Humanity First and Ahmadiyya for this noble work. He very forcefully applauded the good work done by Ahmadiyya and Humanity First  for taking care of different segments of Croatian society. After his short speech he went to children and presented them the eyeglasses.

At the end of the event parents and children expressed their joy and happiness for the noble cause undertaken by the Humanity First. Few parents, children and director of hospital recorded their views also. From Ahmadiyya and Humanity First, Missionary Basil Ahmad recorded the whole event with the assistance of Mr Ivan. Mr Yasser extended help in preparing and winding up the event. Mr Sead Mulabegovic represented the Humanity First Croatia.
