During the presidential debate Sunday, Donald Trump encouraged Muslims to report suspicious behavior when they see it happening.

Trump made the comments when asked how he would combat Islamophobia in America. He called Islamophobia a “shame,” and said Muslims must remain vigilant in reporting “hatred” they experience.

“We have to be sure that Muslims come in and report when they see something going on,” Trump said.

And many took his advice.

Shortly after Trump made the comments, many Muslims took to Twitter with the hashtag #MuslimsReportStuff to share what they were seeing.

“I’m a Muslim, and I would like to report a crazy man threatening a woman on a stage in Missouri. #debate,” Moustafa Bayoumi tweeted.

I’m a Muslim, and I would like to report a crazy man threatening a woman on a stage in Missouri.

Creepy orange clowns sighted recently across the country. Some say they saw one pacing the debate stage tonight.

Others pointed out that “see something, say something,” isn’t a new concept.
