Jama’at-e- Ahmadiyya Shimoga Partnered With District Health Department, McGann Hospital Blood Bank Shimoga and hosted its 4th successful “Blood Donation Drive” at District Institute Of Education & Training Auditorium, Shimoga to mark World Peace Day.

The memorial blood drive started at 10:30 am with the recitation of The Holy Quran at Shimoga which is around 275 Kms from Bangalore, the capital of South Indian state of Karnataka. It was followed by a Nazm with the local Kannada Language Mastering Ceremony. The program had a Kannada (local language) Speech as well.

The Blood Drive was hosted to mark “World Peace Day”.

The noble event was accompanied with the Delegatory team from N.S.D Department and D.H.O. The chief Guest Dr. Dhananjay Sirji (Medical Director,Sarji Hospital, Shimoga), Mr Somachar (C.B.I. Officer), Mr Shankar (NSD Dept), Dr. Patil (NSD Dept), Mr Mustafa Athar (D.H.O Dept), Naib Ameer Zilla, Qaid Majlis Janab Mir Azam Zikriya and the President of Ahmadiyya  Muslim Jamaat Shimoga Janab Syed Bashiruddin Mehmood Ahmed and its members.

The event was well organised by the Majlis Khuddam-Ul-Ahmadiyya and was supported by Ansarullah & Atfal.

Preparations were started well in advance. The event was organised and all Majlis members meticulously Co-ordinated with each other and took care of all arrangements.

The event was advertised on a Large LED Screen at the prime Location of the city and a vehicle was roamed with Announcement in each and every street with a brief Introduction of Jama’at.

Banners of the highlights & our Motto of our Jamaat: “Love for your motherland is part of your faith” and “Love For All, Hatred For None” were greatly appreciated and the point was impressed that these slogans are not just slogans but are our daily routine to follow as said the Chief Guest Dr Dhananjaya Sarji, He also appreciated our social works.

Dr Ravindranath Kothi spoked about how to maintain our good health and appreciated our slogan “Nations Cannot Be Reformed without the reformation of Youth” and stressed everyone to follow the same.

All the guests for the event were delighted and appreciated the vision and works of Jamaat. The event concluded by a short speech by President Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Janab Syed Bashiruddin Mehmood Ahmed followed by silent prayer (DUA)

Over 53 Pints of Blood was collected and more than 100 people were given free Diabetes Screening and Blood Pressure Test.

This event was covered by Local News Television Channel and a regional T.V. News Channel as well. A press release was circulated to all the local & regional Print Media too.

Al’humdulillah [By the Grace of Allah] the event was successful and we pray for the fruitful result from this event for Islam Ahmadiyya. May Allah Bless all who made this happen, Aameen.
