The Buffalo Chapter of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community will hold its next conference on Sunday June 5, 2016 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm at the Millennium Hotel, 2040 Walden Avenue, Cheektowaga, NY 14225, across from the Walden Galleria Mall.
This conference provides a unique and thought-provoking opportunity to discuss the misconceptions that exist about some Islamic teachings, both within and without the religion of Islam. One such issue is that of the concept of caliphate. What the true concept of Islamic Caliphate? Speakers from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community will discuss the various issues about the concept of Caliphate in Islam and present the true Islamic perspectives. Ample time will be available for questions that audience may have for the speakers.
The speakers are as follows:
1. True Islamic Perspectives: Concept of Caliphate in Islam, Dr. Nasir Khan, President, Buffalo Chapter, Ahmadiyya Muslim Community
2. True Islamic Perspectives: Comparing Islamic & un-Islamic Caliphate, Imam Hamid Nasir Malik, Ahmadiyya Muslim Community
3. World Crisis and the Pathway to Peace, Imam Azam Akram, Ahmadiyya Muslim Community
Each speaker will speak for 20 minutes. The speeches will be followed by a question & answer session and a break at the end where refreshments will be served.
