Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad says that world’s natural beauty reminds mankind of the greatness of the One God.

On 17 November 2015, the World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the Fifth Khalifa (Caliph), His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad visited the Meiji Jingu Memorial in Tokyo on the first day of his current tour of Japan.

Later, Dr Mike Sata PhD, a close friend of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, hosted a special dinner in honour of His Holiness at the Meiji Kinenkan.

During his visit to the Meiji, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad was given a tour of Meiji, which serves as a memorial to Emperor Meiji. The memorial was first opened in November 1920.

His Holiness also visited an exhibition of local Japanese flowers that had been planted at the memorial and also walked through the vast forest.

Commenting upon the scenery during the course of his visit, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad said:

“When observing the world’s natural beauty and scenery it reminds us of the greatness of the One God, who is the Creator of the Universe. All forms of nature are signs of His existence.”

His Holiness wrote a personal message for display at Meiji in which he spoke of the majesty of Allah the Almighty and prayed that Allah rewarded Emperor Meiji for his efforts towards developing peace during his reign.

Thereafter, His Holiness was officially welcomed to Japan by Vice Priest, Shigehiro Miyazaki who described the opportunity to host Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad as a “great privilege and honour”.

A video was shown in which the history of the Meiji was presented, before the Vice Priest presented Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad with a commemorative gift. His Holiness reciprocated by presenting the Vice Priest with a commemorative gift.

Later, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad was escorted to the Meiji Kinenkan where Dr Mike Sata had arranged a special dinner in honour of His Holiness.

Welcoming His Holiness to Japan, Dr Mike Sata said:

“I cherish every moment I have spent in the company of His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad in the past. I welcome him to Japan and would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community on the forthcoming opening of the Baitul Ahad Mosque in Nagoya.”

During the course of the evening, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad spoke of how the Founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian (peace be upon him) had expressed his desire that the message of true Islam should be spread throughout Japan.

Further speaking about the increasing conflict in the world, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad said:

“We all need to work together for the sake of the peace of the world otherwise the world will face a great catastrophe and be mired in danger. May Allah the Almighty save the world from all forms of destruction and devastation.”
