The proprietor of Jamia Islamia in Mississauga contacted police when some of the members asked for the money spending at the Centre. During the last 10 years member gave large sums of money to the mosque. Maulana Asif Qasmi retorted that ‘hisab kitab’ is between Allah and Jamia Islamia. Of the 6 members who contributed heavily some are Syed Zameerul Hassan, Akmal Naqvi, Amin Muhammad. Members were thrown out of the mosque before the Juma prayers. In protest these members stood outside the mosque and protested by showing worshippers records of mismanagement of money.
There are many pending cases in various Toronto courts between mosque management and the donors. after the study of these papers, Jang newspaper will publish further details of ‘mismanagement’ in the next issues.
