As I predicted about 20 minutes before the verdict was handed out by the Bombay Court last night on my FACEBOOK post, popular Bollywood star Salman Khan was setenced to 5 years imprisonment. That it took 13 years to bring this case to finalization is very troubling as it ook several turns since it was first begun.

The overly popular India movie star with millions of fans all over the world, said to be one of the biggest money makers in the Bollywood film industry, has recently been dedicated to helping people and charitable in many ways all of which were enough to mitigate and move the the star’s favor.

What is perhaps more disturbing is the actor’s confusing religious background. With a Muslim name SALman khan (HIS FATHER sALIM kHAN) and given the fact most of movies were released on Eid Day celebration gave the impression that he is of Muslim faith. However, the actor is known to have symbolized his faith carrying the statue of Hanuman Ji and acting in his own production BHAJRANGI BHAI shooting of which began just a few months back and was speedily heading for completion, cast a strong doubt on the actors faith and being a Muslim.

An Indian Mufti two years ago had issued a fatwa of KUNR against Salman Khan for dancing or leading a public rally with the statue of Hanuman Ji in his hands.

While the actor hs not publicly denounced being a Muslim his inclinations towards Hindu belief appears significant and perhaps a great factor in the lack of Divine Mercy for him.

The sentencing, which may be appealed, is said to be very devastating for SALMAN and movie industry that is likely to lose millions of dollars in revenue that Salma movies brought in and were also in pipeline for this year.
