FRUITS DISTRIBUTION ACTIVITY AT GOVERNMENT GENERAL HOSPITAL IN PUNE, MAHARASHTRA, INDIA.
Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has been at the forefront of disaster relief worldwide through an independent charitable organization, Humanity First, and also works on an international program to provide clean water, medical assistance, sustainable energy and aid to those suffering across the world by carrying its motto as “LOVE FOR ALL, HATRED FOR NONE”
On the same lines, We, The Pune division of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, with approval from Medical Superintendent and Dean, Sasoon Hospital and BJ Medical College, Pune , conducted an activity for fruits distribution to the patients admitted in Sasoon General Hospital on Saturday, 18th April 2015.
The Youth wing of community (Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya) ensured that fine quality fresh fruits are available for the patients admitted to general wards, who may not afford them, so that they could benefit from the drive.
Mr. Tahir Ahmad Arif, President, Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Pune, was personall ypresent, along with members of youth wing of community, to supervise and work with the team.
They also had a detailed conversation with authorities/hospital staff, about the patients and wards, to conduct more such activities and cleanliness drives, for various needy people and areas, in different parts of the city.
