On 1st March 2015 Sunday, Peace Symposium on the topic “Loyalty and Love for One’s Nation” was organized by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Jammu at Jammu Club in which hundreds of people belonging to different religion/faith/sects participated.
The Program was presided over by Moulana Muhammad Hameed Kausar, Nazir Dawat-e-ilallah India.
Justice J.P Singh Retired Judge of J&K High court was the chief guest on the occasion.
Prof. N.K. Rasutra chairman J&K Board of School Education graced the occasion as guest of Honor.
Mr. Amit Sharma, special secretary to J&K Government shared the presidium as special guests.
After Recitation of the Holy Quran, Gohar Hafeez Fani welcomed the guest with small introduction of Jama’at Ahmadiyya.
Representatives of Hinduism, Sikhism, Jainism represented the viewpoints of their respective Religions regarding the establishment of Peace which was followed by a speech of Mr. Abdul Aleem Aftab, Deputy Incharge Noor-ul-Islam, regarding the beautiful teachings of Islam about Loyalty and Love for One’s Nation.
Other than the representatives of various religions, the Peace Symposium was attended by a number of dignitaries, Intellectuals and Government Officials. All of them appreciated the efforts of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and the Worldwide Head of the Community for establishing Peace in the World. Particularly they appreciated the Topic which was selected for the Peace Symposium this year and said that it is Need of the hour.
Chief Guest Justice J.P Singh appreciated the initiative made by the Community and said that this types of events should be conducted again and again. In his presidential address Moulana Muhammad Hameed Kausar said that Islam is a religion of love and affection and prophet (PBUH) of Islam has described the loyalty and love for nation as part of faith. He said that community would continue to propagate the message of Love and Harmony in order to establish a peaceful and healthy society.
The program was attended by more than 200 guests from different fields of life including advocates, judges, doctors, professors, principals, government and non-government officers.
