Ahmadiyy Muslims Promoting Peace: St. Thomas Methodist Church Members invited to Ahmadiyya Masjid Bait-ul-Jamaay

The newly appointed Pastor Jeremiah of St. Thomas Methodist church of Glen Ellyn, visited Masjid Bait-ul-Jamaay. He was accompanied by 24 members from his congregation.

The visit was specially arranged by Imam Shamshad A. Nasir.

A friendly lunch was offered and then the meeting formally began with the recitation of the Holy Quran in which God commanded to pay respect to all Prophets and not to make distinction among any of them.

They were welcomed by Imam Shamshad A. Nasir of Masjid Bait-ul-Jamaay and its members.

It was followed by the welcome address by the imam on behalf of the members of Baitul jamey Masjid in Glen Ellyn Chicago.

The Pastor Jeremiah then addressed and briefed the audience about his faith, belief and vision.

He further added that his desire is to have a friendly relationship with Ahmadiyya Muslim community and to work together as a team for the welfare of humanity.

A question / answer session was held at the end. Both Pastor Jeremiah and Imam Shamshad A. Nasir joined in to answer the Questions asked.

Imam Nasir gifted the book ” Life of Muhammad” (Peace be upon him) and a copy of Ahmadiyya Gazette USA to Pastor Jeremiah and all guests.
Pastor and guests returned the gesture with heartfelt thanks —- The program ended with combined prayer.
