Mullahna Syed Soharwardy, the founder of the Islamic Supreme Council of Canada, seems to have given up on the long awaited Mehdi and Messiah all Muslims and many other world have been desperately waiting for a long time.
A well known Muslim cleric in Calgary, Mullahna Syed Soharwardy, has declared no reformer or Messiah is coming to reform the religion and the world.
Mullahna Soharwardy was among the speakers at the Speakers Corner in Calgary today where Imam Afzal Mirza, a senior missionary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community in Canada, also presented the Ahmadiyya Muslim view on ISIL and whether it represents Islam.
Soharwardy seems to have given up on the long awaited Mehdi and Messiah all Muslims and many other world have been desperately waiting for.
“An interesting thing happened today at the Speakers Corner,” related Imam Afzal Mirza in a social media comment directed to Ahmadiyya Times.
Answering a question at Speakers Corner, Imam Mirza said the world religions are waiting for a reformer to come and unite them.
“On this,” Imam Afzal Mirza says, “Calgary’s Maulana Soharwardy said he is not waiting for anyone and that nobody is coming.”
“We need to practice Islam and that’s it,” Soharwardy had declared according to the Imam’s social media post.
Imam Afzal Mirza suggested “those Muslims who differ with him should tell him” [about the irony of his statement].
Proceedings of the Speakers Corner were video-recorded and the Soharwardy comments are expected to show up on Youtube, it was related.

There were others too who said “Abb intizaar e Mahdi o Isa bhee chhorr day.”
Trans: Now forget about Mahdi and Isa and do not wait looking, hoping for them.
That was the idea of Tamanna Imadi sahib. How dare these people deny the Hadith of the prophet s.a.w.s. that a reformer will be appointed (sent) at the head of every century.
No doubt, now there is not going to be any reformer because Khilafat is established.
The Mahdi and Isa had arrived at the correct time with all signs (including the two signs of eclipse of the Moon and the Sun). But careless people did not care. Now:
Abb pachhtaa aye kiyaa hoat, Jabb Chirriyaan chug ga-een khait.
Trans: It is useless to cry over spilt milk.
These Maulanay have misled the Muslim masses and they seem to have missed the train.
This Imam fails to see that the Promised Reformer has a already come, so no one is to come after him that’s it. Hazrat Mirza Ahmad Mahdi AS had already warned the Muslims against ISIS, as the Messenger Muhammad Mustafa SAW foretold. But people don’t see. This Imam is an apostate unless im mistaken. May Allah guide us to the straight path. Amin.
