Devastation of floods in Punjab

1.1. million people affected by the flood waters, 12,000 housed destroyed, 256 dead, 2000 villages vanished from the face of the earth, 5000 animals like cows, horsed, buffalos, goats, sheep dead. Emergency imposed in all hospitals of Jhang after red alert. Meanwhile Ahmadiyya community is work diligently to serve the people affected by floods. according to AMj spokesperson Mr Saleemuddin: ” the volunteers have rescued 1190 people using their own resources in the shape of boats and tractor trollies.

“200 people who were marooned by flood water were rescued and provided meals three-times a day at their places and relief camps have been set up at three places for flood affected people outside Rabwah,” Mr Saleemuddin further stated. “So far 32351 people have been provided food in these camps and free medical facilities have also been provided in these camps. 2372 people have received medical attention for various problems and these facilities are still open for public.”
