This Shami fellow is telling lies about Sir Muhammad Zafrullah Khan sahib (rz.a.) Zafrullah sahib never said, “Consider me a kafir of the Muslim state or a Muslim in the Kafir state of Pakistan”. That was an accusation, a self made accusation of the mullas as if it was the saying of Zafrullah Khan sahib…
Next, the third Khalifah sahib (in 1974) never said that Ahmadis considered all non-Ahmadis as Kafir. But if the non-Ahmadis consider all Ahmadis as Kafir then automatically, the non-Ahmadis become a Kafir due to calling a believer as Kafir. (as per hadith)
Khalifah sahib never accused non-Ahmadis as Kafir, in the assembly in 1974.
So Shami sahib was playing on the wrong lines in that discussion.
It was a good act of Sir Zafrullah sahib not to stand behind a non-Ahmadi maulvi for the funeral prayer of Hazrat Quaid e Azam rh.a. It was an honest act. Every one knew that Ahmadis do not stand up for daily prayers behind a non-Ahamdi maulvi. So why the Mullas (and Shami sahib) were expecting Sir Muhammad Zafrllah Khan sahib to pray behind a non-Ahmadi maulvi?? Shami sahib should learn some lessons and tell the truth to the common people of Pakistan that long time ago, the Mullas kicked out the Ahmadis from the mosques and did not like Ahmadis should pray together with common muslim Maulvis. It was the non-Ahmadi maulvis who did that.
If Zafrullah sahib had attended the funeral prayer, some Mulla would have objected to that also. Why does not Shami sahib tell the whole truth on TV. He is seen to be misguiding the masses. That will not make respected Shami sahib a scholar of good repute. He will be questioned on the day of judgement. That will be even worse time.
This program aired shortly after the Lahore massacre of May 2010. Instead of interviewing Ahmadi Muslims most of he Pakistani channels called in the opponents of the community to gauge their reaction.
By the way Maulana Maududi did not pray Hazrat Quaid e Azam’s funeral prayer either.
The beardless mullahs are funny too. If zafrullah were to pray the Quaid’s Janaza they would have surely objected again.
Did Mr Shami pray the Janaza of Zafrullah Khan or that of Abdus Salam? Did any Ahmadi Muslim object?
