Salam Saskatoon the land of Sunny Skies
Ahmadi women in Saskatoon hosted the Holy Qur’an exhibition at the Cliff Wright Public Library, Saskatoon on January 19, 2014.
Ahmadi men and women work side by side to take the message of peace and “Love for All & Hatred for None” to all corners of the world. They work to remove misconception about Islam and the Holy Qur’an. They deliver the message of the Promised Messiah Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani (peace be on him) which is based on the pristine teachings of the Holy Quran.
Many interesting questions were raised and shared.
One guest asked about views of Ahmadi Muslims on Jesus (peace be on him). It was shared that Ahmadi Muslims hold the unique belief that Jesus (peace be upon him) survived the crucifixion and travelled towards India to continue his ministry among the Lost Tribes of Israel. Furthermore, his tomb, containing his body, has been recently re-discovered in Srinagar, India. A BBC4 documentary (2010) represented this as being supported by ancient manuscripts and Kashmiri tradition.
Ahmadi Muslims also assert that this belief is not only upheld by the Holy Quran and the sayings of Muhammad sa, but even by the Holy Bible itself.
“Jesus in India” the book written by the founder of the Ahmadiyya Community gives historical, scriptural and medical proofs supporting his claim.
For more information on Jesus and his life and death, visit the official website of Ahmadiyya community in Islam: https://www.alislam.org/topics/jesus/
The library staffs came in one at a time and read over the posters and asked questions. Library also provided information as to how to add books by the Promised Messiah (peace be on him) on the Library shelves
