Jordan: Gov’t announces Sunday public holiday due to weather conditions

AMMAN –– Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour on Saturday announced that ministries and public agencies will observe a holiday on Sunday due to the bad weather conditions.

The decision was taken as the Kingdom is under the impact of polar front that blanketed the country with snow.

The premier’s decision excluded the ministries of interior, health, public works, municipal affairs and health in addition to the Greater Amman Municipality to continue providing services needed during the depression.
