KUALA LUMPUR: The Federal Constitution should be amended to clarify that Muslims in Malaysia are those who adhere to the practice of the Sunnah Wal Jamaah, the mainstream teachings of the Al-Quran and the Sunnah, a Penang delegate suggested at the Umno General Assembly 2013.
Datuk Shabudin Yahaya, who proposed the motion on religion and education, said it was high time the Constitution was amended to deny deviants the right to call themselves Muslims.

He also proposed that Article 3.3 of Umno’s constitution be amended to be in line with the Federal Constitution that defines Islam as the religion of the federation.
Shabudin said the Umno Constitution stated the party would uphold, defend and spread the official religion.
“We need to amend the party constitution to tally with the Federal Constitution.
“It must also be amended to define Muslims as followers of Sunnah Wal Jamaah, so that we can live as a united Muslim family,” he said, adding Muslims should reject liberalism, pluralism and teachings that lead to deviationism.
He proposed that a resolution be moved to support the Government’s commitment to observe the wasatiah (moderation) principles to make Malaysia a modern Muslim nation.

Assalamo Alaikum! Here we go again. Muslims stepping outside of the teaching of Islam to try and prove what they think is an Islamic position. The Holy Prophet(SAW) said, that in the latter days, there would be 72 sects in Islam. Only one would be the true community. The one what would except the Messiah and Mahdi. Of course muslims outside of Ahmadiyya believe that person is Isa . The self same Isa who was sent to the Israelites. A prophet who was not sent to the whole world but, only to the people Allah sent him to. Now, because of the muslims arrogance and unjust behaviors,they don’t want a muslim Messiah and Mahdi. If this muslim brother who came up with this silly and off point suggestion, why didn’t he say Allah has commission him with this message. Instead he stands in front of other men to plead his case. My suggestion is for this brother to ask every muslim in his country outside of his Sunni community, if they are true muslims or not and tell them that pray to Allah is Judged ONLY by Allah. I’m sure that if this brother and his community shows the True Islamic teachings of Love,Peace, Justice and Tolerance, he would have a truly Islamic country with all followers of every religion who would understand why the Holy Prophet(SAW) was a messenger to the world. Muslim or non muslim alike. Let’s stay always in pray for peace in a world in such need of peace.
These pseudo Mullas do not realize that the prophet Muhammad s.a.w.s. was also considered as deviant by the polytheists. The Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.s. told his companions:
“The Jews and Christians were divided into 72 sects. My Ummah will be divided into 73 sects…”
The companions could not believe that.
The prophet s.a.w.s. further said ” Out of the 73 sects of Muslims, all will be hell bound except only one sect will be going to paradise.”
The Companions were very wise. They asked the prophet s.a.w.s. as to the identity of that one guided (Jannati) sect.
The prophet s.a.w.s. replied, “It will be the one which will be on my way (practice and condition) and that of my companions. In Arabic, the words are “Maa anaa alaih e wa ashaabi.” That gives good news to real ahle Sunnat, i.e. the Ahmadis. It may exclude the Shias who are against the companions of the holy prophet s.a.w.s.
The present condition of the Ummah has proved the truth of the wise words of the prophet Muhammad s.a.w.s. Most of the Mullas are ignorant politicians, whereas the mission of the prophet s.a.w.s. was not political.
These Mullas think they can bring about revival of Islam through politics. That will never happen. The Mullas have no love of religion in mind. They just want to rule over people by way of religion.
Islam did not start with the prophet Muhammad s.a.w.s. and he did not invent or create the word Allah. Allah was already there all the time. Only the misguided leaders were using the name of Allah to promote their own deities (idols).
Islam was the religion of all prophets. Quran gives the right to every one to believe what they like. There is not to be any compulsion in any religion. Quran gives hope and good return to all peaceful believers of all faiths who do good deeds(who are not belligerent). Verse 2:62/63.
According to the sayings of prophet of Islam SAS, and the divine book any person who believes in one God, Angles, all Divine books and on all messengers of Allah and on day of judgment is a Muslim.
Any person who prays to Allah facing Qibla in Mecca, socializes with Muslims, eats their sacrificed (Zabiah) is a Muslim.
In 1400 Hundred years enormous changes in the teaching and practices of Prophet Mohammad SAS have been made. Pick up the books written by the scholars in early time of Islam and the so called religious leaders of today you will find a world of difference.
There has to be one authority to rule over. More the tongues more differences and division.
People should search for Promised Messiah for guidance. Once you find and obey him that is the right religion.
