Mo’ money, mo’ problems?

Here are the top 5 recipients of US foreign aid. They aren’t exactly poster-children for a democratic society.

The countries receiving the most American aid aren’t exactly posterchildren for a model, peaceful society. Before Sept. 11, Egypt topped the US foreign aid list for 35 years and, so far, the United States has not retracted it’s promised $1.3 billion in military aid to the country, despite the army’s violent crackdown on supporters of ousted president Mohamed Morsi.

  1. Why do the Americans love to provide so much ‘military aid’? Because of course all that money (or most of it) remains nicely back home. Overpriced military equipment is charged to the ‘aid account’, so is ‘training’ etc.etc. The money stays nicely back home in the USA. (In one project I was working on 350 persons were invited to a University in USA for ‘English lessons’. Of course you could have sent a couple of English teachers to the relevant country at a fraction of the cost, but ‘aid funds’ needed to be spent (back home). And some ‘brain washing’ by the way as well… (just an example).

  2. I am told my comments are duplicate, but I dot see them.
Is the CENSOR even more strict now?
