Reportedly unhappy with the posting he had been given, a serving major general of the Indian Army committed suicide at his house in southwest Delhi’s Dwarka on Friday.
The victim, identified as Rajpal Singh, was posted as additional director general (ADG), National Cadet Corps (NCC) in Patna, Bihar in September 2011 and was scheduled to retire on August 31.
