KANO (Nigeria): Gunmen believed to be Islamists from Nigeria’s Boko Haram insurgent group killed 42 people, mostly students, in an overnight attack on a secondary school in restive Yobe state, a medical worker and residents said Saturday.
“We received 42 dead bodies of students and other staff of Government Secondary School (in) Mamudo last night. Some of them had gunshot wounds while many of them had burns and ruptured tissues,” Haliru Aliyu of the PotiskumGeneral Hospital told AFP.
Should we lobby to pass a law that murders may not be permitted to be called ‘Islamists’ as, of course, such murders have absolutely nothing to do with Islam, the religion of PEACE.
You can start to lobby so. But keep in mind the culprits while committing such atrocities use Islamic terms like Allaho Akbar and use Islam as permit to such killings.
We already have a lobby called Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, also named Mission or Movement.
Ahmadis should individually call/write/email the media responsible for such nomenclature.They should also send the information to the Ahmadiyya Headquarters in their country.
The Jamaats can have their own collective response.

Killings in the name islam is not justified at all. Such terrorists & criminals must be brought to justice.
