BEIRUT: Ramadan food baskets from Saudi Arabia have started reaching Syrians in Lebanon who have been displaced by civil war in their country, an official of the Saudi National Campaign said on Monday.
Campaign Director Walid Jalal said 4,000 food baskets were distributed to refugees in the southern Lebanon town of Borja, one of the campaign’s distribution centers.

Jalal said the campaign will be distributing more than 30,000 food baskets during the holy month of Ramadan, which starts next week.
