Bahraini forces have reportedly abducted two female students and four women medics in different cities in line with the country’s harsh Saudi-backed crackdown.
According to Press TV, the students were kidnapped in Bilad al-Qadim city and the medics in Isa town on Tuesday, witnesses said.
Earlier on Tuesday, a Bahraini opposition activist said the regime is seeking the death penalty against a group of anti-government protesters at a martial court.
Seven protesters are accused of killing two security forces during the regime’s crackdown on the popular uprising, former lawmaker Matar Matar said.
