Bandung, IDN Times – The West Java Provincial Government also responded to the sealing of the mosque belonging to the Indonesian Ahmadiyah Congregation (JAI) by Satpol PP in Nyalindung Village, Ngamplang Village, Cilawu District, Garut Regency , Tuesday (2/7/2024).The Regional Secretary (Sekda) of West Java, Herman Suryatman, said that the provincial government is currently still adhering to the existing regulations, namely Regional Regulation Number 12 of 2011 concerning the Prohibition of Activities of the Indonesian Ahmadiyah Congregation.”Of course we return to the provisions, we return to the laws and regulations,” said Herman, Tuesday (9/7/2024).
1. The public should not be provoked
Even so, Herman encouraged the community to prioritize conduciveness between communities. 2. Sealing should prioritize dialogue
Meanwhile, the Head of FKUB West Java, Rafani Achyar said, regardless of Ahmadiyah followers or others, the sealing of this place of worship cannot be done immediately. Dialogue between each other must be done.”Whatever the response to differences of opinion, there should be no anarchic actions, that is the principle. 3. Society must maintain tolerance for each other
