Just imagine there is a war (or genocide) and all sides run out of ammunition (and bombs) …

Well, strange as it may seem, this CAN HAPPEN.

Remember the 1965 India Pakistan war? It ended after about 23 days. Because the UN actually managed to make an arms embargo and, wonder over wonder, both the USA and the Soviet Union observed it.

(you can google it for more details).

So, WHY THE HELL, is that not POSSIBLE NOW? With Israel and Hamas, what Israel considers a war and every one else considers genocide ???

WHY does no country object to bombs being supplied by USA (and others) so that Israel can continue bombing and killing civilians. For a few ‘fighters’ or ‘terrorist’ up to 20’000 civilians need to die?

Words fail me….

For info Indo Pakistan war 1965 … https://www.idsa.in/specialfeature/TheContextoftheCeaseFireDecisioninthe1965_skalyanaraman_210915#:~:text=Pakistan%20Army’s%20Materiel%20Situation&text=The%201965%20War%20began%20on,worth%20of%20ammunition%20and%20spares.

The Security Council passed Resolution 211 on September 20 calling for an end to the fighting and negotiations on the settlement of the Kashmir problem, and the United States and the United Kingdom supported the UN decision by cutting off arms supplies to both belligerents. This ban affected both belligerents, but Pakistan felt the effects more keenly since it had a much weaker military in comparison to India. The UN resolution and the halting of arms sales had an immediate impact. India accepted the ceasefire on September 21 and Pakistan on September 22.
