Amir of the Indonesian Ahmadiyah Muslim Jemaah Maulana Mirajuddin Shd. inaugurated a Web-based library at the Al Hidayah Mosque, Jalan Ciputat Raya Number 18, Kebayoran Lama, Ahmadiyah South Jakarta, 1 October 2023. The inauguration of this library carried the theme “The Existence of the JAI Library as a Treasure of Knowledge for Spiritual Improvement , Intellectual and Moral”.
Apart from the Al Hidayah Mosque, seven similar libraries were also opened at Ahmadiyah branches, namely the Bening Library in Manislor Kuningan Village, West Java; WR Library. Supratman Bandung, West Java; Muhammad Sadiq Library in Medan, North Sumatra; Ar Rahmat Peninggilan Library, South Tangerang, Banten; Abdus Salam Lenteng Agung Library, South Jakarta; AARAV Wanasigra Tasikmalaya Library, West Java; and the Arif Rahman Hakim Library in Padang, West Sumatra.
The Al Hidayah Library was inaugurated directly while the other seven were online via the Warta Ahmadiyah YouTube channel. The establishment of the Ahmadiyah library was based on the instructions of the 5th Hz Ahmadiyah Caliph. Mirza Masroor Ahmad Atba.
The eight newly inaugurated libraries were coordinated by Naib Amir Supervisor, Executive, Program (P3) Arifin M. Suryahaminata. In the future, all Ahmadiyah branches will have Web-based libraries. P Apart from accepting membership from internal Ahmadiyah, Al Hidayah Library also serves the general public. Services can be accessed online at http://www.perpustakaanalhidayah.id.
