Ahmadiyya Muslim organisations have praised PM Narendra Modi for the ban on Triple Talaq. At a meeting leaders of the sect said that Islam also does not accept the practice of triple talaq, o this step of PM Modi’s government is a good step. They also said that this is a good step towards women’s empowerment. The BJP govt brought a law banning Triple Talaq after the Supreme Court had outlawed the practice.
