Suara.com - The case of the destruction of the Miftahul Huda Mosque which was built by the Ahmadiyya Community in Balai Harapan Village, Sintang, West Kalimantan has entered the trial stage.

It is known, as many as 21 perpetrators of the destruction of the Miftahul Huda Mosque are currently undergoing the trial process at the Pontianak District Court.

The Head of the Legal Committee of the Indonesian Ahmadiyya Congregation, Fitria Sumarni, revealed that the trial has been running for four times.
"This trial has been running 4 times, the first on November 18, 2021, November 25, 2021, December 2, 2021 and December 9, 2021," Fitria said in a virtual press conference, Wednesday (15/12/2021).
However, his party regretted that the examination process at the trial, did not lead to the criminal act of vandalism and incitement to violence which was indicted by the public prosecutor, but to the MUI Fatwa No. 11 of 2005 concerning Ahmadiyah which considers Ahmadiyah to be out of Islam and its teachings are heretical and misleading.

He assessed the irregularities of the trial when witnesses from the West Kalimantan MUI were presented.

"Why? Because the investigation that was supposed to explore the case of the destruction of the Ahmadiyah Mosque turned into a trial that studied the MUI version of Ahmadiyah. The MUI then explained about the MUI fatwa and also the SKB and explained the heresy of Ahmadiyah," he said.
