Depok, West Java, – Depok Mayor Idris Abdul Somad is considered distriminative and intolerant. Ahamadiyah Indonesia (JAI) Jama’at companion from Yayasan Satu Keadilan, Syamsul Alam Agus assessed, the treatment of the Depok City Government even the Mayor, a MUI cleric, actually did actions that did not reflect the behavior that should be.

“We affirm that the Depok City government is affirming its position, supporting acts of intolerance,”Syamsul told reporters on Friday.

The reason, said Syamsul, in the Joint Decree (SKB) of the Three Ministers explained that there was no dissolution of jai organization. That is, the organization of Ahmadiyyat deserves to be active.

“Referring to the Decree of the Three Ministers,it is the prohibition of Ahmadiyyat to disseminate understanding to citizens outside the congregation. I think doing activities by not disseminating is not a violation,” Syamsul said.Read also : Depok Red Zone, Mayor Prohibits Pregnant Women and Toddlers to Public Places

“(Precisely) the Regulation of the Mayor of Depok is contrary in substance to skb 3 ministers,” added Syamsul.

For this reason, Syamsul also requested that the Mayor of Depok conduct an evaluation of Regulation No. 9 of 2011 on the Prohibition of Ahmadiyya Indonesia activities in Depok City.Read also : Revealed in the Survey: 15% of Civil Servants Object to People of Different Religions Being Superiors

“I think this is a distortion that must be straightened out, as we know guarantees for religion and belief including for worship are constitutionally guaranteed by the 1945 Constitution and human rights,” he said

Reported earlier, the Pamong Praja Police Unit of Depok City again sealed the activities of The Ahmadiyya Jama’at Indonesia (JAI) located in RT03/RW07, Sawangan Baru Village, Sawangan Subdistrict, Depok City, West Java.

If calculated, it has been seven times the Depok City Government has sealed since the first seal in 2013.

Head of Regional Enforcement Of Satpol PP Depok City,Taufiqurakhman said, the re-sealing was done to renew the seal that had been damaged and unreadable.

“This is not a sealing of several, but this seal board is considered unreadable and needs to be replaced as well as the transfer of points,” Taufiq said at the location on Friday, October 22, 2021.

The process of installing a new sealing plang by Satpol PP was also attended by the community on behalf of the Forum umat Bersatu Depok City.

Chairman of FUB Depok City, Abdul Azis said, the re-sealing carried out by Satpol PP Depok City was because there is currently still ahmadiyya community activities that have clearly been prohibited in the Joint Decree of 3 Ministers, West Java Governor No. 12 of 2011 and Regulation No. 9 of 2011.

“This is a follow-up activity rather than yesterday’s hearing with the mayor, kesbangpol, satpol pp, and pu,” Azis said.

Azis also questioned the attitude of the Depok City Government which was considered indecisive in winning the Ahmadiyya Jama’at Indonesia.

“We question that this Ahmadiyya from 2007 has never been a solution. While in the rules of both SKB 3 Minister, Pergub and Perwal, it is clear that Ahmadiyya religion is heretical,” abdul azis said.

Azis said, with this re-sealing, it is expected that the Depok City Government together with the Indonesian Ulema Council can take a stand against the Ahmadiyya Jama’at Indonesia.

“Even though the mayor is Mr. Idris alumni gontor, where is this. We’ve been confused until now. What needs events like Ketapang to happen in Depok, they (Ahmadiyya) spread teachings that are outside the religion of Islam. It is against Islam,”Azis said.
