Ahmadiyya Jama’at Sintang After Attack: Feeling Insecure

Their Miftahul Huda mosque has lasted only four months since construction was completed in May 2021. Currently the Miftahul Huda Mosque almost collapsed thanks to the destruction carried out by the Sintang Muslim Alliance on September 3, 2021.

The walls of the mosque were battered by the arrogance of wooden beams, bamboo, and bare hands. The windows shattered, debris strewn into the mosque. Their prayer mats lay dusty, disheveled, united together with the tear of books and the rubble of buildings. The alliance also burned down a warehouse belonging to the Ahmadiyya Jama’at. The warehouse became a temporary place of worship, after the Sintang Regency Government permanently closed the Miftahul Huda Mosque on August 27, 2021.
